problem in compilation
i am trying to install vasp.5.3. i have ifc9.1 ( red-hat linux ) on my system please tell me what changes if any i have to do in the Makefile, as it is showing 1 error when i am giving the command make. i have also a doubt about which makefile.machine i have to choose from the list. i am using makefile.linux_ifc_p4

problem in compilation
1) without telling what error you encounter, there is no possibility to answer your posting. in any case make sure you use a makefile which is
delivered with the code release you want to compile
