OPTIC VASP 4.6

Hello,
I was trying to get the matrix elements for obtaining optical spectra with VASP 4.6 by setting LOPTIC=.TRUE. (and other necessary flags) and post processing using Furthmueller's optic code. I am unable to find documentation on the method used to obtain the matrix elements. Could anyone please let me know where to get this information

please contact Dr. Juergen Furthmueller directly for all questions concerning the optics part of vasp.
